- Jennifer's painting "Broken Angel" was a finalist in the Artist's Magazine's 24th Annual Art Competition which attracted over 10,000 international entries, and the painting was also chosen for the cover of the magazine's 2008 calendar.
- The January 2008 edition of Watercolur Artist will feature "Diocletian's Palace" in their "Winner's Circle," a showcase of international watercolour award recipients.
- Nov. 2006 - Awarded "A.J. Casson Medal," the hightest honour granted by the CSPWC, for "Diocletian's Palace." Jennifer was pleased to accept the award in Toronto on November 2nd at the John B. Aird Gallery.The City of Edmonton acknowledged the award in a protocol ceremony in December, 2006.

- Selected for a national exhibition "Limitless Potential" celebrating the 80th anniversary of the CSPWC (touring across Canada 2005/2006).
- Accepted the honour to serve a two-year term on a national jury to select new artists for membership in the CSPWC, 2005 and 2006.

- Presented seminar on visual art to students at Victoria School of Performing and Visual Arts (May 2004).
- Winner of the Curry's/Winsor Newton Award for Excellence at the C.S.P.W.C.'s 78th annual Open Water exhibition in Toronto, October 2003 for "Spanish Staircase."
- The Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour selected Jennifer as one of six artists to represent Canada at the International Biennial Watercolour Exhibition in Mexico City, opening November 23, 2003 at the Museo Nacional De La Acuarela.
- Annesley's "Colloquy in Red" won the Jarvis Award for Excellence in Watercolour from the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour at their Open Water 76 Exhibition, Toronto."
- Annesley's work was featured in a major article and on the cover of Watercolor Magazine, winter 2002 edition, a rare honour for a Canadian artist.
- International Artist Magazine has featured Jennifer's painting "Les Chaises" in the Canadian Master's showcase, Issue 20, (August/September 2001.)
- Accepted to be featured in the Pastel International magazine (Jan., 2001)
- Featured artist at the Virginia Christopher Galleries for the 1999, 1997, and 2001 Calgary Artwalks.
- Jennifer was accepted into the "Aim for Arts" international art exhibition and competition, hosted by the Federation of Canadian Artists in partnership with Aim Funds Management Inc. It was a juried, visual fine arts exhibition open to all living artists worldwide. Her painting entitled "Mount Stephen Hall" was one of 209 works chosen from 1340 entries from 33 countries. The accepted works were exhibited in October 2000 and are reproduced in a catalog available from the Federation.
- Elected by jury into the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour on their 75th anniversary year, one of only two artists accepted this year from Alberta, and one of eleven in Canada. Jennifer will be receiving her diploma in November at the C.S.P.W.C. gala in Toronto. (May 2000)
- In April 2000, Jennifer was accepted by jury into the Federation of Canadian Artists.
- Featured artist at the Virginia Christopher Galleries for the 1999 and 1997 Calgary Artwalks.
