Forward:"The majority of the 2005 paintings are a result artist's time spent in Croatia, exploring the ancient architecture of Istria, the Dalmatian Coast and the medieval walled city of Dubrovnik. Annesley also hiked the Bow Valley Highline Trail in Banff National Park and to the Abbott Pass Hut on the great divide in the Canadian Rocky Mountains (the second highest permanent structure in Canada at 9895 feet, affording spectacular views of the mountains.) The 2005 landscapes are inpsired by these back country adventures."
